Location: Tiakiwai (lower ground floor), National Library, corner Molesworth and Aitken Streets.

Join Brendan O’Brien for an illustrated talk encompassing the work some of the most noteworthy private presses and handpress printers at work locally over the past 100 years. Looking at a diverse range of publications from those printed in a classical tradition at the Caxton and Nag’s Head Presses to the innovative design and illustrative work of Alan Loney and Tara McLeod, this talk will give an overview of the hand-made book in New Zealand.
